LOFT welcomes pilots from around the world to complete their initial type ratings and recurrent training. The visa and approval process varies depending on your training type:

  • Initial type ratings or new certifications require an M-1 student visa
  • Recurrent training (on aircraft you’re already type-rated in) can be completed under a B-1 business visitor visa, B-1/B-2, or ESTA

To the right, we’ve outlined the M-1 visa process for initial training.

1. Apply to LOFT
